INTRODUCTION TO THE AMAZING HOLY SPIRIT.

The gift of God the Father to humanity is His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The gift of the Lord Jesus Christ to the believers is the Holy Spirit. Whoever accepts the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will be saved. But when we want to live a fruitful and supernatural godly life, we need the gift of the Holy Spirit. Normal Christianity can be described as dying for self and living for God in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Gal. 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

There is only one way to live a Christian life, and that is by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is also known as the Helper who is given to us to help us to live the abundant Christian life.

John 14:16-17
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

The Lord Jesus Christ gave a promise to His disciples that they would receive the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives so that they could be witnesses for Christ and the Kingdom of God.

Acts 1:8
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

DESTROYING CHAOS, EMPTINESS, AND DARKNESS!

BRINGING LIGHT AND NEW CREATION!

The first mention of the Holy Spirit is in Genesis chapter 1:1-3

Genesis 1:1-3
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.

The Holy Spirit was hovering over the face of the waters. The Holy Spirit came to renew the face of the earth. (Ps. 104:30) The Holy Spirit in combination with the Father, and God’s Word declared war on Chaos, Emptiness, and Darkness, and destroyed them. This is still the purpose of the Holy Spirit nowadays. May the Holy Spirit destroy all Chaos, Emptiness, and Darkness in your life!

4000 YEARS later the Holy Spirit hovered over a young girl in the country of Israel, and she gave birth to a Son who started a NEW CREATION.

Luke 1:35
And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

NOW ALMOST 6000 YEARS LATER the scripture says that the Holy Spirit is hovering over God’s people and ALL FLESH.

Acts 2:17-18
And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.

Let’s pray that God’s Holy Spirit will be poured out on His people and ALL FLESH. It is God’s will that all people shall be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Pray that the Holy Spirit will hover over this world to bring in the end-time revival.

THE HOLY SPIRIT RAISED ADAM FROM THE MUD!

Genesis 2:7
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Again, we see the Holy Spirit working together with Father God and the Word. The Word was spoken, and the Holy Spirit makes this Word alive. We can read the Word in Genesis 1:26.

Genesis 1:26
Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

The Holy Spirit is the breath of life that God breathed in Adam’s nostrils. The word breath in this verse is the Hebrew word, NESAMA, which means breath or spirit. (H5397) When God breathed into Adam’s nostrils, he became a living being. It is the Spirit who gives life, it is the Holy Spirit who raises the Word spoken by God and makes man in God’s image. The power of the Holy Spirit is amazing and wants to work in your life! When people don’t have the Holy Spirit, they will live like “walking dead.” We know that when people are breathing out their last breath the spirit leaves their body.

THE HOLY SPIRIT REGENERATED ABRAHAM AND SARAH’S BODIES!

The Holy Spirit regenerated Abraham and Sarah’s bodies so that they could be fruitful and multiply. Abraham had a promise from God that he should get a son, who should be his heir. Abraham and Sarah were old, and their bodies passed the time of childbearing.

Rom. 4:19-21
And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

God changed their names, which means that they got a new identity. (Gen. 17:5 +15) Their names got added the “H,” Abram became Abraham, and Sarai became Sarah. This means that God imparted His Spirit in their lives which regenerated their bodies and gave them a new identity. We are the children of Abraham, and we received the promise of Abraham in our lives.

Gal. 3:14
that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

We can receive this wonderful promise and blessing of Abraham we by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Believing in God’s promises will give us Divine power and a Divine nature like Abraham and Sarah. That is your inheritance as a child of Abraham.

2Pet. 1:3-4
as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

THE HOLY SPIRIT RAISED JESUS CHRIST FROM THE DEAD.

The Holy Spirit raised Jesus Christ from the Dead and placed Him on the throne. When we believe in Him, we are risen with Him and seated with Him on the throne. This is all done by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Eph. 1:19-21
and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

We have risen together with Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, to walk in newness of life as a new creation.

Rom. 6:4
Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

The Holy Spirit wants to raise us from the dead and give us life for our mortal bodies to live for God and His Kingdom. This is the supernatural life of God through the Holy Spirit.

Rom. 8:11
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Pray out loud:
Heavenly Father, we are amazed by your power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit destroyed chaos, emptiness, and darkness. The Holy Spirit raised Adam out of the mud. The Holy Spirit regenerated Abraham’s and Sarah’s old bodies and renewed their youth. The Holy Spirit raised Jesus Christ from the dead and we are risen with Him. Thank you for giving us Divine power and Divine nature. Make these promises alive through your Holy Spirit and let us walk as Sons of God. We ask you, and thank you, in Jesus' name!

Acts 2:17-18
Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."
