TAKE YOUR POSITION IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES

We will study and discover the mysteries and spiritual dimensions we can enter into through the Tabernacle. We can read the description of the Tabernacle in the book of Exodus from chapter 25 to chapter 40. An amazing amount of sixteen chapters were written about the tent's details of where God came to live among His people.  God, the creator of Heaven and Earth, is omnipresent but will manifest His Presence with the people He chooses and who are in covenant with Him.

Exodus 24:9-10 Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, 10 and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very heavens in its clarity.

Moses, Aaron and his sons, and seventy of the elders of Israel WENT UP. When they went up the mountain they saw the God of Israel on a pavement of sapphire stone. There is no mountain in the world where the top is from sapphire stone.

Moses stepped into the heavens! (mysteries and spiritual dimensions)

Exodus 24:17-18 The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel. 18 So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

God’s Presence was manifested by a cloud and by fire. God manifested Himself in this way when He led the people of Israel out of Egypt, and also when He came to live in the Tabernacle of Meeting.

GOD LEADING HIS PEOPLE OUT OF EGYPT

Ex. 13:21-22 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. 22 He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.

GOD’S MANIFESTED HIS PRESENCE IN AND ON THE TABERNACLE

Ex. 40:38 For the cloud of the Lord was above the tabernacle by day, and fire was over it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

Moses entered into the mountain, he entered into the cloud, and into the fire. There God showed Him the Ten Commandments, the social law, and the religious laws of Israel. God also showed His holy sanctuary in the heavens and wanted Moses to make the sanctuary on earth as it is in heaven.

Exodus 25:8-9 And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. 9 According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it.

Hebr. 8:5 who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, "See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain."

The Tabernacle shows us the protocols of how we can come before the King of kings and the Lord of lords. The Tabernacle shows us how we can come before the Creator of Heaven and Earth. The Tabernacle also shows us how to enter the Most Holy Place, how to enter into the cloud, and how to enter into the holy fire. When we follow the steps in this study, we can have our own “mountain experience!” As God showed Moses what he had to do, He will show you what you have to do. God will show you what you are to build on earth as it is in heaven.

WALK PRAYERFULLY THROUGH THE TABERNACLE TILL YOU STEP INTO THE FIRE!

  1. THE GATE

Ps. 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

Our hearts should be thrilled when we enter His gates and visit our Heavenly Father. Prayer is not begging God to get something from Him, but prayer should be about having fellowship with your Heavenly Father the creator of heaven and earth. Our hearts should be filled with thanksgiving when we enter His gates.

1Thess. 5:18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

  1. THE COURT

Ps. 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

After we enter His gates, we come into the courts of the Tabernacle. We come into His presence and we start to praise Him. Your worries and fears will flee from you because these can’t stand before the Lord. When we begin to praise the Lord, we stir Him up, because God will recognize faith when we praise Him. God is looking for people with faith, hearts focused, and longing for Him.

Hebr. 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

2Chron. 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.

  1. THE BRONZE ALTAR

After we enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts and enter His courts with praise we find a bronze altar. This is the altar where they brought sacrifices to God, and this altar points to Christ on the cross who died for our sins. When we turn our focus from our worries, fears, and ourselves to the bronze altar a miracle will happen.

Num. 21:8-9 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live." 9 So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

The Jewish people were complaining to God Day and night and had forgotten how God led them out of Egypt through the Red Sea. They also forgot that God miraculously gave them their daily food. Now the Jews were bitten by fiery poisonous serpents and were suffering and slowly dying. Moses had to make a bronze serpent and put it on a pole and when people looked upon it, they were healed.

John 3:14-15 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus Christ said that He in a similar way should be lifted up and that when people look upon him with faith, they will not die but have eternal life. When we see Christ on the cross, we get the revelation that our sins, sickness, and curses are taken away.

Gal. 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

  1. THE BRONZE LAVER

After the altar where we received forgiveness for our sins, we came to the Bronze Laver. The Bronze Laver was a big wash basin where the priests could clean their feet before entering the Holy Place. It was easy to get dirty feet in the desert combined with the hot weather. We also easily get dirty “feet” when we walk in this world by the media and the deceiving words we have heard spoken. Wash yourself with God’s Word by meditating on the Word of God.

Eph. 5:26-27  that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

John 15:3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

  1. THE TABLE OF SHOWBREAD

When we step into the Holy place we see at our right hand the Table of Showbread. The Lord Jesus Christ is the bread of life, our daily bread.

John 6:48 I am the bread of life.

John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."

John 6:58 This is the bread which came down from heaven--not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever."

  1. THE GOLDEN CANDLESTICK

The Golden Candlestick was on the left side in the Holy Place. The Golden Candlestick gave light in the Holy Place and that helped to find the Showbread on the right side. The Golden Candlestick is a picture of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will help you to understand the Words of God and to consume God’s Words as your daily bread. The Golden Candlestick has seven arms like the Holy Spirit has seven names in the book of Isaiah.

Isa. 11:2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

The Seven Spirits of God also showed up before the throne of God, in the book of Revelation. Here the Apostle John describes what He saw in Heaven in the Throne Room of God.

The seven spirits of God who are in front of God.

Rev. 4:2-5 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. 3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. 4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

  1. THE ALTAR OF INCENSE

The Altar of Incense was standing before the curtain of the Holy of Holies. We need to know that the curtain is open now. That means that we can worship God fully, without any curtain/flesh between us.  We can worship God in the Spirit!

John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

The Altar of Incense speaks also of the intercession of the saints.

Rev. 8:3-4 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel's hand.

  1. THE HOLY OF HOLIES

In the Holy of Holies, we have the Ark of the Covenant overshadowed by Angels. The Ark of the Covenant contained the Ten Commandments, Aaron’s Staff, and Manna.

Above the Ark of the Covenant was God’s Presence, the Chabod. In the daytime God’s Presence was like a cloud and in the evening God’s Presence was like a fire.

Now when we pray ourselves through the Tabernacle to enter His gates, to enter His courts, and to thank Him for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the altar for our sins. We move on to the tent and wash our feet with His word, step into the Holy Place to take His Word with the help of the Seven Spirits of God which give us understanding by letting His light shine upon it. We come with a heart of worship and praise before the Most Holy Place.

Now we enter into the Holy of Holies because of the Blood of Jesus. We step into His Glory, we step into the cloud and we step into the fire of God.

Hebr. 10:19-22 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

We can’t enter the Holy of Holies because we did works for God or behaved so well. There is only One Way to enter the Holy of Holies and that is by the Blood of Jesus Christ.

When you step into God’s glory, His cloud, and His fire, you will experience His presence and He will reveal to you what you need to do on earth and what is written in Heaven.

You can enter into the mountain, you can enter into the cloud, and into the fire.

You can have your “Mountain Experience!”

Hebr. 12:22-24  But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
