This is an emotional topic and I trust that by the time you have finished reading this blog post, you will experience freedom. Next to that, you will experience an extraordinary release. We are living in a time where more than 50 % of all people have had a traumatic experience. Most teenagers, even before becoming adults, had to deal with a traumatic experience. Traumas are often caused by molestation, abuse, and accidents. Research shows that the effect of trauma is dramatic for the development of the brain, mind, and body, especially for teenagers. There is a lot of darkness and evil in this world, but the ancient scriptures always give us hope and solutions to overcome afflictions and adversity.
1Pet. 1:9
you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls.
This scripture is written by Peter who was a follower of Jesus Christ. He is talking about an inexpressible joy that is filled with glory. We will find out soon why his joy was above understanding. When we study the phrase, “the salvation of your souls,” we discover his rejoicing. The word salvation in Greek is the word “Soteria,” which means, “deliverance from the molestation of enemies.” (Strong’s G4991 – soteria)
God wants to deliver you from all the effects of molestation and abuse. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was wounded, molested, and abused when he was hanging on the cross. He took all your pain of rejection, affliction, and oppression on His body on the cross. When you come with all your spiritual, mental, and physical pain to Him, He will deliver you! He wants to give full, “deliverance from the molestation of enemies.” Now we understand Peter’s inexpressible joy! Jesus Christ wants to trade your pain and sorrows for joy and dancing!
Eph. 3:15-16
that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
After the “deliverance from the molestation of enemies,” God wants to do the next work in your soul and emotions. He wants to strengthen you with His might, through His Spirit in the inner man. The word, might, that is written here is the word dynamis in Greek.
(Strong’s G1411 – dynamis) We get the word dynamic, dynamo, and dynamite from this word. The meaning of the word dynamis is, moral power and excellence of soul. After the deliverance from the molestation of enemies, God wants to renew your soul and emotions with His dynamite power! Any spirit of doubt, rejection, self-pity, low self-esteem, or trauma will be blown up and have to go out!
The inner man in this scripture means, the soul, and conscience. That means that God has the power to heal your soul from all trauma and he cleanses your conscience from all sin and guilty feelings. No wonder that Peter talked about inexpressible joy filled with glory!
Don’t let the devil pull your strings anymore, let Jesus Christ tune your strings like a guitar, violin, or piano. Let Jesus Christ come into your emotions and tune your heart so that you will be in harmony and sound great again.
3 John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
This scripture shows that health and prosperity are connected to a prosperous soul. When your soul prospers you will have physical, relational, and financial health. You will prosper in all things! Remember the word dynamis, moral power, and excellence of soul. After God has given you, deliverance from the molestation of enemies, and excellence of soul, He will make you prosper in all things!
God is able, to change a desert into a beautiful garden, He can change darkness into light. God, the creator is able, to change a traumatized person into a joyful person. This message from the ancient scriptures is life-changing and you will experience freedom from oppression and trauma.
Pray this prayer out loud:
Heavenly Father, thank you that you are the Savior and Deliverer of my soul. I invite you in my heart and my soul. Deliver me from the hurts of abuse, molestation, and oppression. Come in my heart and soul with your dynamis power to restore my soul to the excellence of soul. Tune my heart and soul with your love and bring all in harmony. Thank you, that as my soul and conscience will prosper, I will prosper in all things. Let me experience the inexpressible joy in full glory. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
